Our Home Away from Home…

Welcome to the 15th Arrondissement - a quiet neighborhood in the southwest corner of Paris. A welcome respite from the bustle of the city, the area offers some great restaurants, cafés, and parks. Moreover, its multiple metro and train stations make it easy to reach most of the city’s major attractions in about 30 mins. The local markets, held twice a week, are also amazing and should not be missed!

In the 15th, La Quinzerie Hotel provides an excellent home away from home. Opened in 2022, the hotel offers comfortable rooms, a rooftop bar with a great view of the Eiffel Tower, and a fitness room and sauna. Nearby, you will find several restaurants and cafés, as well as a supermarket and a wine shop. The subway and regional train stations are only a 5-7-minute walk away. We have visited and are excited to partner with this hotel to offer you an exciting base from which to explore Paris and beyond!

Ritz-Escoffier Supplement: We are pleased to collaborate once more with one of France’s premier culinary institutes, the Ritz-Escoffier School, to offer you an unforgettable Parisian food experience. The school is providing our group a special rate: $295 for a half-day class which is designed for beginners and includes a sweet or savory dish to take with you and enjoy. We cannot recommend this experience enough! (Most travelers eat pastries in Paris, but how many can say that they made pastries in one of France’s leading kitchens?!!) If you are interested in the class, please let us know in the sign-up form below.

Walking in Paris: Please note that this trip will involve a considerable amount of walking as we traverse the city and explore its historical and culinary offerings. Much of the city is relatively flat, but we will encounter some hills and a fair amount of stairs in the subway tunnels. We will do our best to move at a pace that is comfortable for everyone. It is worth noting that France does not offer many of the accommodations for persons with mobility issues found in the United States. If you have any concerns or questions about this, please drop us a line: tccep2026@gmail.com

We are grateful that so many people have expressed interest in this trip! Unfortunately, we only have spaces for 12 travelers. In the interest of fairness, we will hold a lottery on January 16, 2026 to determine the final list of travelers. If you would like to be included in the lottery, please complete the fields below and click “Submit.” Please be sure to let us know in the last box if you are planning to travel alone or as a couple. Please let us know as well if you are interested in taking the supplementary cooking class at the Ritz-Escoffier School. To be included in the lottery, please submit the information below by 8am on January 16, 2026. We will notify selected travelers that same day. To confirm their spots on the roster, all travelers will need to submit a non-refundable deposit of $1000 by January 23, 2026. The remaining balance will be due February 20, 2026. This will enable us to confirm various reservations we have arranged in Paris. Details about the deposit process will be included in the email notifying travelers of their selection in the lottery. If you have any questions about the trip, or the lottery, please feel to reach out to us: tccep2026@gmail.com. Merci!
